Worried about concentration and taxable gains?
X-Plus™ helps you unwind your concentrated position, and diversify, in a tax‑aware manner — sometimes even front‑loading the sale of concentrated stock, which is then offset with the losses harvested in your OaXys account through the fiscal year.
The product offsets ~76% of your realized gains in the first year.
How it works
OaXys decomposes indices such as Russell 1000 (RUI) into their individual holdings.
Using the proprietary model, OaXys then takes on leverage, creates a long-short extension, and assigns proprietary weighting to individual underliers.
The weightings are optimized to generate excess returns, and maximize tax-loss harvesting.
For example, X-Core™ seeks to hold 140% of the account value in long and 40% in short.
This creates a net 100% exposure, similar to a traditional portfolio but with much higher tax-benefits and potential excess-returns.
OaXys then rebalances the portfolios periodically to ensure maximum tax-losses are harvested while still realizing returns similar to the benchmark index.
